Kálmán Imre (Siófok, 1882. október 24. – Párizs, 1953. október 30.) operettjeiről híres magyar zeneszerző, karmester.
Zongoristaként 1897-ben mutatkozott be a fővárosi közönségnek. Csodagyerekként ünnepelték, de a zongorista karrierről 1900-ban betegség miatt le kellett mondania, ekkor fordult a zeneszerzés felé. Első operettjét, a Tatárjárást 1908-ban mutatták be nagy sikerrel a Vígszínházban. Ezután Bécsbe költözött és 1938-ig ott is maradt. 1915-ben mutatták be legsikeresebb művét, a Csárdáskirálynőt, amely szerzőjének nemzetközi hírnevet szerzett. Az Anschlusst követően zsidó származása miatt Amerikába menekült. Nagysikerű művei továbbá A cigányprímás, A bajadér, a Marica grófnő és a Cirkuszhercegnő.

Imre Kálmán (Siófok, October 24, 1882 - Paris, October 30, 1953) famous Hungarian operetta composer and conductor.
In 1897, he was presented to the public in the capital, as a pianist. Celebrated as a child prodigy, he had to cancel his pianist career in 1900, due to illness. At that time he turned toward composing. The first operetta, Tatárjárás (Autumn Manoeuvres), was presented in 1908 at the Comedy Theater, with great success. Then he moved to Vienna and remained there until 1938. In 1915, was presented the most successful of his works the Csárdáskirályno (The Csárdás Princess), which brought to the author the international fame. After the Anschluss fled to America because of his Jewish origins. Other highly acclaimed works: A cigányprímás (The Blue House), A bajadér (The Yankee Princess), Marica grófno (Countess Marica) and Cirkuszhercegno (The Circus Princess).
