Big Sky Country Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

lmt000: Looks like the county has cleaned up the area and took out the deer crossing sign the cache was attached to, so this one is being archived. The answers to the puzzle are all aircraft nicknames which relate to their designation numbers. "Dakota" is the C-47 whose civilian number was the DC-3
"FLUF" is the 737 and "Queen of the Skies" is the 747. "Connie" is the L-049 and one variant was the
C-121. "Super Jolly Green Giant" is the HH-53 helicopter and the "Bordeaux Weinbomber" is the C-160
giving you N37 37.747 W121 53.160. Thanks to all that solved and logged the cache.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates

May 12th is National Limerick Day, so in honor of that, I have come up with a few limericks and made it into a puzzle cache. There is parking across the street, please be cautious of traffic at the cache site.

From "Dakota" she now lives in Butte
Her nickname is "FLUF" ain't that cute
On a mountain she resides
Now she is "Queen of the Skies"
It's a story I just can't refute

Her best friend "Connie" is a vintner
"Super Jolly Green Giant" a name they did give her
Six foot four she does stand
A wine bottle in hand
Please, just don't call her Miss Bordeaux "Weinbomber"

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
