Geocache Description:

We invite everyone for small cache hunting in Heraklion city, in Crete.

The hunting is going to last a few hours under the hot sun. We will place 6-8 new boxes and use some old ones also to participate in the competition. (Not necessary to participate.) We are going to have rewards for the first 3 and of course souvenirs for all the teams also. If you are interested put the Event on your watch list, and you will get more details later. Later in the afternoon, around 18:00, we will meet, eat, drink and chat at a local seaside tavern next to the Omilos cache.
DETAILS OF COMPETITION
The competition rules are these: 15 boxes to find, log in the logbook and collect the paper number from the boxes. You always try to get the smallest number, if it a 1, which means you are the first. Who have from all the boxes the smallest summary this team is the first in the game. If you don’t find a cache 5 point adds to your summary.
On the EVENT DAY, in the morning, about 10 o' clock I will put the numbers in, and make a last check to the boxes. The new boxes will be published 30 of June evening, so you need internet access to have the coordinates and descriptions. If anybody have problem to manage this, I will have printed descriptions from the caches at the Event place and can give them to you.
You can do the hunting whenever you like, so you don’t have to get up early morning and run from Chania till here. Just you have to be at the Event coordinates with the numbers at 18:00. After that time we don’t accept further teams in the competitions.
Required items: sun cream, hat, shoes for walking about 6km, stealing skill.
