This is a quick cache n dash. Slightly bigger then 35mm film canister WITH NO PENCIL just log book and very small swaps maybe :)
The Murchison Memorial is next to the A87 road between Balmacara and Kyle of Lochalsh.
Parking is available in a layby and the monument is a short 2 minute walk from the road. Not pushchair friendly terrain but a fairly decent (if narrow at times) path to monument and great views over to Skye.
