Geocache Description:

The cruiser Aurora, a participant of the Russo-Japanese war of 1905-1904, a symbol of the Russian Revolution, survivor of many naval battles, today stands as the oldest commissioned ship of the Russian Navy. After extensive repairs following WWII, Aurora was permanently anchored to the banks of Neva to become a museum and a monument to the October Revolution.

The coordinates will also bring you to the Nakhimov Naval School. It is one of the “chains” of schools that was founded in 1943 in the Soviet Union for sons of the military personnel who died in action. This particular school, the Leningrad one, was founded in 1944, and is the only one that still exists in modern Russia.

The cache, a magnetic micro only contains a log sheet, so don’t forget a pen!

PLEASE place the cache back in the EXACT same way you found it. Thank you.
