The parks department will be hosting Kids Fest on Saturday morning in the park. Since we are having our Anniversary event here on Sunday we thought it would be a good idea to host this CITO event to clean the park up after all those kids are in the park. So we will gather around 5:00 pm on Saturday afternoon and do a quick sweep of the park to pick up any trash that may have been left behind or that has washed up along the shoreline. This park is usually pretty well kept but as you know Geocachers have a way of finding trash that nobody else seems to see.
Remember to join us for the main event on Sunday July 8th where we will have activities going on in the park for everyone to enjoy. Let's make sure all of our out of town visitors show up to a sparkling clean park. We will provide some grabbers, trash bags, gloves and water. You might want to make sure you have some bug spray as the mosquitoes can be pretty bad here sometimes.
