A nice place for lizards to catch some sun, as they were on this day. Midway on Oak Springs Trail #16 between Pine TH & Hardscrabble Rd.
If you come from the Pine TH continue on to Oak Springs for a break before heading back. You'll probably need it! Or continue on to Hardscrabble Rd, through Bear Canyon for a pleasant hike among the tall Pines and several other caches along the way. It might be prudent to drop a vehicle at the other end first.
