Regular size container very close to the Parking lot of the Maine Wildlife park. Admission to the park is not necessary to find this cache. In the future, I hope to get permission to place a cache within the park itself.
Maine Wildlife Park in Gray Maine is home to a variety of Maine wildlife. Many of the animals at the Maine Wildlife Park were brought here because they were injured or orphaned, or because they were human dependent - raised, sometimes illegally, in captivity. The Park serves as a permanent home for wildlife that cannot survive in the Wild. All kinds of animals are here for their protection and healing. When possible they are released back into the wild. The Park is open in April - November. The Park hours are Daily 9:30 am - 4:30 pm: Visitors may stay until 6:00 pm. October 15 through November 11, admission gate closes at 4 p.m. and visitors must exit by 5 p.m. For extra caching credit that gets you absolutely nothing, please post a picture on your log of yourself with the bears or any other of the other animals in the background.
