Post-Paddle Recovery Event & Wiener-Fest

Starting as soon as paddlers start arriving
somewhere around 12:30 - 1:15 ish
Earlier this morning, a bunch of brave souls, members of the SETX GeoNavy, will have ventured in small vessels from an imprompu launch point at Red Bluff and Spring Gulley for a training exercise. After defending the geocaching community from various enemies, including crocogators, Angry Birds, chupacabra, and various things that swim and slither in the Bayou, and padding ~4.25 treacherous miles to get to this point, they are going to be thankful for being on dry land. And hungry and thirsty sailors they will be.
To fix this problem, we are hosting a post-paddle recovery event at Bay Area Park. A pot-luck picnic, if you will. This event is open to all -- and those who did not paddle are encouraged to come and hear the sordid details, fish stories, and misadventures of the SETX GeoNavy that set sail only hours earlier. Come have some hot dogs, enjoy some relaxed geotalk, see some pictures from the water hike, and trade some coins and bugs.
Bring some bug spray, some folding chairs and something to share for the picnic! Event host will bring 4 packs of hot dogs and buns and some sodas. You all supply the rest.
If someone not on the paddling adventure would like to volunteer to be the lead grillmaster, we can call from the water about 20-30 minutes out and the grill fire-up and setup can begin.
If you plan on attending, please note the following in your log: 1) whether or not you will you be on the water, and 2) what are you bringing so everyone can plan accordingly. I'll keep a running list on the cache page for easy reference.
