We will be at the pub from approximately 18.30. The pub has a good selection of real ales for anybody who may be interested...
There is a small car park at the front of the pub and a much bigger one at the rear, which can be accessed by driving up the lane to the left of the pub. It is also directly opposite Mottisfont and Dunbridge station for those wishing to use public transport.
Please note - the main road into Romsey from the M27 / M271 is closed due to major bridge maintenance work by Network Rail - the diversion is well signposted but you might like to plot an alternative route if this is the way you are planning to drive to Dunbridge. You could, of course, take the train...
We have exclusive use of the skittle alley, so for those that want to there will be an informal competition throughout the evening (although we have to end this by 10.30 at the latest as there are guest bedrooms above the skittle alley).
The only food available on the night will be a hot buffet, which will be served at c.19.30 p.m. (and available for about 1h) with the following three choices:
1. Chilli con carne, rice and tortillas
2. Lasagne, salad and garlic bread
3. Butternut squash and courgettes Thai green curry, rice and char grilled bread
The cost of the buffet is £11.50 per person for adults and £6.95 for children under 10.
Please post a note to indicate if you will be eating and your choices.
We will need your orders for food by Friday 8th June 2012 at the latest - the chef is off on the Monday and they will need to order the ingredients over the weekend.
For those wanting to partake in the skittle competition then there will be a £2 per person entry fee (children under 16 free) that we will put towards some prizes. Please indicate in your 'Will attend' logs if you would like to participate so that we can organise enough prizes, although we will be able to accept entries on the night.
If you have never been to a geocaching event, we're a friendly bunch - you'll be able to get advice about equipment, hints on solving local puzzle caches and swap any Travel Bugs or Geocoins that you might have.
Bernie The Geocacher has kindly agreed to hold a GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) clinic from 18.30-19.30, so if you have any questions about this software application then Bernie is your man!
