GeoFreakZ is an integration of geocaching with cartoons and on-line gaming (visit website www.geofreakz.com for more information) aimed at introducing kids to our sport of geocaching.
Starting May 19, 2012, GeoFreakZ (Teletoon) is partnering with Parks Canada and Groundspeak to bring a GeoFreakZ adventure near you. The program is being piloted in 4 Parks Canada locations, and Cavendish & PEI National Park have been chosen as one of those locations.
Come out and learn about this unique initiative, and join us as we hike and explore the Park's Homestead Trail. Lots of great prizes, including a trackable GeoFreakZ geo-tag for everyone. "A lucky raffle winner will win a Magellan eXplorist GC".
A tutorial will be given on cache placement techniques -- cache site selection, containers, hiding techniques, cammoflage, and more!
