Geocache Description:

This is part of the Stoney Ridge Royal Flush Series. Create your "Royal Flush" by visiting each card cache, (Ten, Jack, Queen, King and Ace) collect the information needed to get to the winning hand. (GC3H323)

Geocaching is a lot like playing cards. Sometimes you have a hot hand, and sometimes the cards just don't come your way. The deck has been shuffled, the caches dealt, try your luck and see if you can come up with "A Royal Flush"

All caches are located short distances off the existing hiking/ski trails. If the trails are groomed for skiing, please stay off them or better yet use your skis to get to them.

The Stoney Ridge County Trail is located on county tax forfeited land amongst large tracts of state and county land in the George Washington State Forest.
It is a great place to view wildlife, with deer and even moose being spotted here. Grouse are common and birds abound throughout.
Three loops traverse the rugged terrain offering beginning and intermediate skiing. Sherry Lake can be found at the very end of the last loop. The Stoney Ridge Trail is located on county tax forfeited property that is managed for timber, wildlife, and dispersed recreational use by the County Land Department.
