Luton church is dedicated to St.John the evangelist and is a small rural Devon church.
The church was built in 1865 when the parish separated from Bishopsteignton It is a single aisle form with coloured glass in the East window and has a small cote housing a single bell.
We have attended Harvest Festival here when it is standing room only with all ages taking a full part in the service.
This is approached from all directions by narrow lanes which farm machinery and horses regularly use. Please take care and drive slowly.

It can be done as a cache and dash or park at the road junction and take a few minutes to enjoy the area. Please be aware of houses in the vicinity and don`t cause alarm !!

“If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list”
