Geocache Description:

The song of the mountains (Das Lied der Berge)

This is a song composed by Toni Ortelli, an Itallian in 1927. It is especially well known in the areas of the Swiss Alps. It was translated and rewritten in German later by Ralph Maria Siegel and was performed by the Montanara choir from Stuttgart in 1958. This caused that more than 2 million copies of this song were sold.

The coordinates of this cache will bring you in front of a building with a matching name. This was actually a Hotel type saloon, like in the western movies in its days of glory. The location and architecture is unique.
Word of mouth has it that, in its days, it had a few red lights next to the door and a few very sexy ladies were making their fortune there.

Today, of course, this venue is used for a different source of income.

If you want to know more about this place, you are on your own.

Regarding the cache, its under a small tree, where exactly this tree is, is as mysterious as the building.
