Cache Hiding 101
You always see events about the introduction of caching to our locals, but it's rare, if ever, do you see an event put on for the sole purpose of giving folks the ins and outs of actually hiding caches.
Today, Cache Up NB will be holding a seminar on the basics of hiding caches. Many people have hidden caches out there but a lot of people have differing ideas of what makes good and bad caches. Among some of the things we're going to discuss you'll find:
- What makes a good vs bad container
- When should you hide your first cache / Not hiding too early
- Best and worst places to hide a cache
- Rules & HOWTO's about listing your cache online
- Common mistakes & issues made when hiding
