Geocache Description:

Terrain rating is not only for the hike itself, but also the terrain at GZ. I had 12 foot +/- accuracy on my GPS when I took the coords. However keep in mind you're in a some what heavy forested area. If you have a lot of GPS bounce. Maybe take a rest and let the GPS settle.

When my dad said, "We're going for a hike". I asked if I could place a cache along the way. When he checked to make sure one could be placed along the way he said sure.

This cache is about half way from the Angels Rest trail head to the top. The entire hike is 4.8 miles round trip with about a 1450 foot elevation gain. If you have time to make it to the top you'll enjoy fantastic 270 degree views. If you have a headlamp or a flashlight on a clear day you could stay long enough to enjoy an incredible sunset.
