[FIN] Inarijärven jääluola on jääkauden myllerryksissä syntynyt luola, joka on 10 metriä pikä ja 3 metriä korkea. Luolan pohjalla on 18 metriä syvä umpijää, joka voi heiketä tai jopa sulaa kesäisin. Ole siis varovainen. Satoja vuosia sitten järvisaamelaiset ovat käyttäneet luolaa elintarvikkeiden säilytykseenkin. Kätkölle pääsee moottorikelkalla talvisin ja veneellä kesäisin. Voit vuokrata veneen tai moottorikelkan läheisistä turistivuokraamoista. Kätkö on vaikeasti piilotettu, jotan varaa etsimisaikaa jopa useita tunteja. GPS ei toimi kymmenen umpigraniittitonnin takia, joten koordinaatit sijaitsevat luolan pääsisäänkäynnillä. Luolassa on kylmää kesälläkin, joten varaa mukaan lämpimät vaatteet. There's an 18 meters thick solid ice in the bottom which may weaken or even melt in the summers, so be careful. The sami people have even used the cave as a fridge. The cache can be accessed by a snowmobile in winters or by a boat in summers. You can rent one from nearby rental companies. The cache is well hidden, so reserve lots of time. The GPS doesn't work because of ten tons of solid granite so the coordinates point to the main entrace of the cave. It' very cold in the cave even in summers so bring warm clothing with you. You should also take rubber boots. Please don't move large rocks or fit yourself into too tiny holes or you may get a grave bigger than normal. Additional note: The ice will almost certainly melt by final weeks of the summer. It might not be avilable then. I will recommend you to try the cache during winter, spring or start of the summer.
