Quick roadside cache close to Alberton dam.
The entrance gates are closed at night. Look at the attached photo for the exact times. It has a nice play park for kids with many large shady trees and well kept lawns. There is a very nice big jungle gym and swings, a slide and some other play park equipment, all in good working order.
The level of littering varies with the types of gatherings held there. There is a petting zoo with lots of farm animals like goats and pigs on the southern side. Lots of ducks and geese to be seen and they like to nest on the island in the middle of the dam. Too many to name them all, go and look for yourself.
Needless to say, this is high muggle country, but it depends on the day you choose and the time of day. Early morning should be a very good time, before it gets busy. Avoid Sunday afternoons!
