Winter Tor is an almost conical tor, with clitter falling downhill to the west, and provides a very visible landmark from all directions. It is an easy pleasant walk either from the Belstone moorgates or from Cullever Steps along tracks to the tor. The cache is a letterbox hybrid in a medium-sized pillpot. There is the letterbox stamp - so dont forget to take an inkpad and some paper or card to take a copy - and a small book for letterboxers to stamp their personal stamp, and a small separate plastic bag with a geocaching log for geocachers' names or stamps. This is a hybrid letterbox, and has been sited within the DNP geocaching and letterboxing guidelines.
