Acache near Gergeri.
The lake of Digeni is located near the village of Gergeri. It is actually three lakes.
The pool «Limni stou Digeni to mnima» is a particular case of a temporary wetland, which keeps pluvial water during winter but dries out in summer.
The reservoir of Gergeri was constructed for the irrigation needs of the area. Through the interventions, the value of the local fauna and flora of this mountainous area was brought out. It was constructed in an open area, so that passing birds are attracted by it.
The nearby construction of a double lake was favors of ecological and other reasons.
The whole ecosystem is now full of gooses, ducks and other birds.
There is also a small playground nearby. Near the playground is located the cache.
