Geocache Description:

Beaufort Bridge is situated at the village of Beaufort in Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Beaufort bridge was built in 1837. This arched bridge spans the Laune river, which is popular with salmon and trout anglers. It connects the main Killarney/Killorglin road with Beaufort village, and on to scenic areas such as Gap of Dunloe, Glencar and Caragh Lake. The ancient Beaufort Ogham stones can be seen nearby.

There are beautiful views of the river from the bridge. This cache is one of my Bridges of Kerry County Series. Please take a photo of yourself on or near the bridge and post it.
