Geocache Description:

SVR Permissive Path and Field.

Severn Valley Railway celebrates 150th anniversary.

The SVR line was built between 1858 and 1862 and ran for 40 miles linking Hartlebury, near Droitwitch in Worcestershire with Shrewsbury.
Part of the line has been preserved by volunteers and enthusiasts who have rebuilt it into what is today a tourist line from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. The trains carry more than 250.000 passengers annually.

Severn Valley Railway series is for those that love Steam Railways; they will get you to where you can see moving trains close up, in picturesque places, the path will take you across to Stand and wave without the need to be on the road. This is a good place to view the trains as you have height and they are in view for a few minutes.

Please keep dogs on a lead as both fields can have sheep in them. There are two stiles and one kissing gate into field.

Thanks to Natural England for the permissive path and Farmer Hayden Woolley for permission to place the caches.

Please BYOP and tweezers

Congratulations to;
