St Mary the Virgin, Vernham Dean is a small parish church of Norman origin, with a complete restoration of 1851 by A. Ashpital. Aisleless nave and chancel, walls of flint rubble with stone dressings, stone bell turret. Notable feature is the round arch west doorway c1200.
Roadside parking by the church and you will need to bring your own pen.
