Ezers atrodas Talsu rajonā. Vidējais dziļums ir 2.0 metri, bet maksimālais dziļums - 6.4 metri.
Talsu mācītājmuiža atrodas 4 km no Talsiem Šķēdes virzienā, apm. 2 km aiz Talsu apvedceļa, Oktes ceļa kreisajā pusē. Muiža izveidota 18. gs. beigās - 19. gs. sākumā.
Apbūvi veido mācītājmāja, klēts, kīts, ratnīca, pārbūvēta kalpu māja.
Mācītājmāja ir vienstāva guļbūve ar galos nošļauptu augstu divslīpju jumtu. Celta 1809. gadā. Pārbūves notikušas 19. gs. 3. cet. periodā starp 1977.- 1986. g. ēka remontēta - ārsienas apšūtas ar horizontāli liktiem gropētiem dēļiem un uzlikts jauns dakstiņu jumts.

The lake is located in Talsi district, average depth is 2.0 meters and the maximum depth - 6.4 meters.
Talsi Rectory is located 4 km from Talsi Šķēde direction, approx. 2 km behind the Talsi ring road, Oktes road on the left.
Structure consists of parson, barn, coach house, servants' house rebuilt.
Parson's one-storey log building with tapered ends of the high gable roof. Built in the 1809th year. Alterations occurred in the 19th century. The third quarter. period between the 1977th - 1986. g. repaired the building - walls clad in horizontally laid in grooved boards and imposing a new tile roof.
