If you live around Texas City or know the history, You know what happened in April of 1947. Most of the Texas City Fire Department and hundreds of other people died on that day. This is the worst industrial accident in the history of the United States. Please go to the park and look at the photos and read about it. The park hours are 9:00am to 9:00pm.
