O LOCAL
O jogo vai começar na Praceta João Paulo II e vai percorrer o Escadório monumental do Sameiro, sendo que é dificil de haver um melhor tabuleiro de jogo que este, dada a paisagem que se pode observar enquanto se joga.
A Praceta João Paulo II foi inaugurada em 25 de Março de 1985 no início do Escadório monumental, ela envolve a estátua de bronze dedicada ao Santo Padre após a sua visita ao Sameiro em 15 de Maio de 1982. O monumental Escadório foi construído em várias fases, tendo sido concluído em meados da década de 60. Em Junho de 1964, no final do Escadório, foram colocadas duas Estrelas da autoria de Jorje Barradas representando o terceiro e o quarto Mistérios Gloriosos.
O JOGO
Snakes and Ladders (ou Chutes and Ladders) é um jogo de tabuleiro antigo com origem na India e é considerado hoje como um clássico mundial. É jogado entre dois ou mais jogadores num tabuleiro com casas numeradas. Uma série de "escadas" e "cobras" (ou "chutes") são retratados no tabuleiro, cada um liga duas casas do tabuleiro específicas. O objetivo do jogo é viajar desde o início (quadrado inferior) para o fim (quadrado superior), ajudado ou prejudicado por escadas ou cobras, respectivamente. A versão histórica teve raiz em lições de moral, onde a progressão de um jogador pelo tabuleiro acima representa uma jornada de vida complicada por virtudes (escadas) e vícios (cobras). O jogo é uma competição de corrida simples sem um componente habilidade, pois o jogo é inteiramente determinado por um fator aleatório, seja por uma roleta ou por um dado.
Fica a sugestão, se estiver presente mais do que um geocacher com Wherigo Player, que tal fazerem um joguinho de Snakes and Ladders e verem qual chega primeiro ao final. É sempre mais divertido.

THE PLACE
The game will start at Plazza John Paul II and will go through the monumental staircase of Sameiro, and it's hard to have a better game board that given the landscape that can be seen while playing.
The Plazza John Paul II was inaugurated on March 25, 1985 at the beginning of the monumental staircase, it involves the bronze statue dedicated to the Holy Father after his visit to Sameiro on May 15, 1982. The monumental staircase was built in several phases, was completed in the mid 60s. In June 1964, at the end of the staircase, were placed two stars authored by Jorje Barradas representing the third and the fourth Glorious Mysteries.
THE GAME
Snakes and Ladders (or Chutes and Ladders) is an ancient Indian board game regarded today as a worldwide classic. It is played between two or more players on a gameboard having numbered, gridded squares. A number of "ladders" and "snakes" (or "chutes") are pictured on the board, each connecting two specific board squares. The object of the game is to navigate one's game piece from the start (bottom square) to the finish (top square), helped or hindered by ladders and snakes, respectively. The historic version had root in morality lessons, where a player's progression up the board represented a life journey complicated by virtues (ladders) and vices (snakes).The game is a simple race contest lacking a skill component, and is popular with young children.
For you to play and find the Geocache you have to complete this Wherigo cartridge.

In the end, besides the "Found it" on Geocaching.com, also register your log of "Played" on Wherigo.com here.
Although not required, after completion of the Wherigo cartridge record record the game on the player.
Then mark the cartridge as complete (Unlock) in Wherigo.com uploading the save file ( .gsw that does not work in Android) or using the Unlock Code provided in the cartridge.
