Geocache Description:

The Alconbury Amble will start you at the Recreation Field (which has a car park).

It will take you on a leisurely stroll around the pretty village taking in all the high points (and low points!) before returning you to the vicinity of the Recreation Field.

The entire route is not wheelchair friendly but most is and any problem locations will only require a minor diversion.

The amble is best taken in conjunction with the Past Pubs & Pathfinders multi cache.

A good walk from AA #6 before getting another clue for the pathfinders cache.

You've just left Rust's Lane.

The road is named after the old Lord of the Manor Squire Rust.

Please be careful crossing the road. In Squire Rust's day traffic didn't move very fast; nowadays some idiots use this road to race to and from RAF Molesworth

The cache is on a public footpath and wheelchair users are in luck as there the gates at either end have been removed and the path is very spick and span nowadays.

If you are doing the Past Pubs Pathfinder then you want to carry on this footpath and through the estate to Waypoint #3 (White Horse? Hidden Path) otherwise head on to #8.

PLEASE NOTE: The cache is a 35mm pot and NOT inside the wall. You do NOT need to remove any brick work.
