TLC - Scarle Bonus Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Pipesy: I've just had the most upsetting email! That a cacher has been trampled by cows around the series! I'm soo soo sorry Snoopyisboss, I wish you a speedy recovery. I've not felt so bad for a long long time, however, there is no way that I am gonna risk that happening to anyone else, I'm so sorry that it has happened to anyone! Therefore I have only one option, bye bye TLC Scarle!! Apologies to those planning it, and again, my most heartfelt apologies of course to Sarah (Snoopyisboss) and Megs. Get well soon!

Caches will be collected in ASAP, I will retreive the TB if it's still in there too.

Geocache Description:

Scarle Bonus.

The co-ordinates listed are not for this cache but the advised parking location for the series.

Let me start by explaining the series as it is a little different, in order to find 'The Lost Cache' (TLC) there are actually three series of caches, all in nearby villages, this one in North Scarle, one in Swinderby and the final one is around Thorpe on the Hill.
If you wish you can just do them as three seperate series', all of which have fifteen caches and a bonus cache.

However, hidden on the inside of the lid of each bonus cache are some random co-ordinates.
When all three series are complete and bonus caches found, you will have all the co-ordinates needed to find what I'm calling a super bonus - THE LOST CACHE!

The three series can be done in whatever order you like, The Lost Cache is somewhere in the middle.

I advise going round all three series in numerical order if not for the only reason that depending on the time of year, footpaths across fields are not always obvious, my caches are placed with that in mind and hopefully should lead the way should it not be obvious.

You will need tweezers to remove some of the logs.
The series is suitable for kids as long as they are capable of the hike, you may be able to take buggies round though there are a couple of metal swing gates and stiles that you will need to lift it over and depending on the time of year, there may be ploughed fields to encounter and occasional livestock.

Now to the three series in general.
In ten of the caches leading up to the bonus you will find a letter and number in red and ringed at the top of the log sheet, you will need to take note and match the number up to its matching letter below in order to find the co-ordinates for the bonus:

N53° AB.CDE W000° VW.XYZ

Then when you head to the bonus, remember to look for the random co-ordinates and stuck to the inside of the lid (also some in the cache for you to take and fill in should you wish) which you will need to find 'The Lost Cache'.

Along the three series you will be searching for containers of all shapes and sizes along with some new creations and one or two ideas which I have stolen off other cachers.

This North Scarle series is a circular just under 4 miles long and starts and finishes by the cemetery.

I advise parking in the car park by the cemetery off the High Street.
