Many Winnipeg cachers will be familiar with the ICU series of hides, placed by the late EyeOfSauron. The caching community only became aware of his passing when the hides were archived en masse, many with the containers still in position.
In the months that followed, some of these remaining ICU's were redeployed as active caches in tribute, beginning with glacier_ice's RIP EoS (GC2GVE6). More recently, a group led by crackerjackie collected the ones that could still be found and placed them in the puzzle cache EyeOfSauron (GC3AEXV). The intention was that finders might take a container and use it in a subsequent hide in memory of the ICU series and its owner. It is from EyeOfSauron that this cache was obtained. It was formerly 'ICU - Wandering Eyes VIII' (GC1Z30Z); the posted coordinates mark its original location. However, it is currently hidden at the following coordinates:
