Introduction to Geocaching Ⅱ Event Cache

After a very successful event last year, the Regina Public Library has invited Regina Geocachers back to host another presentation at the RPL film theatre.

Regina Geocachers and the Regina Public Library invites you and any potentially interested ‘muggles’ you know to an event introducing the activity of Geocaching.

Enjoy an introductory presentation, and afterwards we'll go outside to try your hand at using a GPS receiver to find some caches hidden specially for this event with the help of experienced geocachers.

This event will be held in the RPL Film Theatre of the Central Library Branch. It has seating for 109, so there's lots of room for everyone. The event has also been published in the April/May/June 2012 @theLibrary Adult Programs schedule as well.

This event isn't just for newbies!

As an existing geocacher, you can help peak the interest of potential new cachers by sharing your enthusiasm with those new to the activity. Depending how many participants attend, we would greatly appreaciate volunteers to take people to find the temporary geocaches we have planned to hide in Victoria park. Before the event, we will add the coordinates of the temporary caches as waypoints to this event cache, so if you just download this cache's GPX file to your GPS, it should automatically get the all of the waypoints.
