This initial cache will allow you to reconnoitre the Baron's compound ahead of the mission proper.

Once you reach the reconnaisance cache, you will receive addition information outlining details of how to access the terminals at points Alpha and Beta along with coordinates for your next mission waypoint (all of which uses standard encoding that you should be thoroughly familiar with by now).

We'll make contact with you once you've reached the coordinates provided within.

About This Cache

This cache is a fairly straightforward Wherigo hide that requires you to find a hidden code at the starting coordinates before you can continue with the cartridge.

Unlike the others in the series, this cache is a stand alone and can be found regardless of whether you plan to do the rest of the Chosen Mission caches. You do however, receive a score (like Chosen Mission) so please include this in your log.

The cache contains clues for how to access the caches Terminal Alpha and Terminal Beta, as well as providing the starting coordinates for the Chosen Hill Wherigo cache. This information will be provided as an inventory item once the cartridge has been completed so you can get to solving the next stages even if the cache is missing! The cache will automatically save when it completes so you should still be able to access your score, completion code and encoded transmission at any time simply by reloading your saved game.

The container is quite small and is therefore unsuitable for swaps or visit cards. Please make sure you replace the cache carefully as it could be quite visible from the nearby trail otherwise.

For those of you who have been watching the series for a while, this cache is the third interpretation of "Chosen Mission: Tactical Insertion" following GC2X35Y (too soggy) and GC3BZQ2 (too complex to be the start of the series!)
