Another cache placed to draw attention to one of four time capsules placed in the Cairns Area.
Due to the close proximity of another cache this has had to be moved a little south/east of the time capsule which is in the grounds of the Cairns Civic Theatre.
This time capsule is located under the monolith facing Sheridan Street in the gardens of the Cairns Civic Theatre and was positioned to mark the completion of this project in 1973. It contains history on people who served in World War 2, the 51st RQR, the Mayor at the time and other notable people of Cairns.
