Významná památka připomínající existenci židovské obce.
Hřbitov byl založen roku 1869, má rozlohu 8 879 m2 a stojí zde přes 1000 náhrobků. Jeho rekonstrukce byla dokončena v roce 1993. Byl opatřen kovanou vstupní branou se židovskou symbolikou, do průčelní zdi obřadní síně byly vsazeny kovové pamětní desky. Jsou zde náhrobky členů zdejší židovské komunity, rabína Ungara, rodičů skladatele Gustava Mahlera a Louise Fürnbergera a mnoha dalších. Památník obětem holocaustu byl odhalen 8. 5. 1995.
Ostatní židovské stavební památky se nedochovaly. Historické domy byly necitlivě zbourány na přelomu 60. a 70. let.
Židovská synagoga, vystavěná v letech 1862-63, byla vypálena v březnu 1939. Zbytky synagogy byly strženy v roce 1950, na jejím místě je dnes Park Gustava Mahlera.
Připomínkou tragédie tisícovky jihlavských židů za druhé světové války je pamětní deska na hradební zdi poblíž tržnice, odhalená v dubnu 1992.

This historic monument is a noteworthy reminder of the existence of a Jewish community in Jihlava.
Founded in 1869, the cemetery measures 8,879 sq. m. and has over 1000 tombstones. Its reconstruction was completed in 1993: a wrought-iron entrance gate, adorned with Jewish symbols, was added and commemorative metal plaques were set into the face wall of the funeral parlor. The cemetery contains the tombstones of the members of the Jewish community of Prague, e.g., S. Werner, Rabbi J. J. Unger, the parents of Gustav Mahler and Louis Fürnberg, and many others. A memorial to holocaust victims was unveiled on May 8, 1995.
No other Jewish architectural monuments have been preserved. During the 60's and 70's, many historic houses were ruthlessly demolished. The Jewish synagogue, built in 1862 - 1863, was burnt down in March 1939. The remains of the synagogue were torn down in 1950. An outdoor market is in its place today. The tragedy, which befell Jihlava's about 1000 Jews during the W.W. II, is now commemorated by a plaque, unveiled in April 1992, which is set in the former fortification wall near the outdoor market.

- Může být odlovena jako drive-in.
- Samotná skrýš je umístěná mimo prostory hřbitova.
- Není ukryta ani ve hřbitovní zdi!
- K vyjmutí krabičky není potřeba žádné nástroje ani násilí!
- Muž v dílně o krabičce ví a je jejím strážcem ;-)
- Určitě si udělejte čas i na návštěvu hřbitova.

To the cache itself:
- This is a simple cache suitable not only for common geocachers but also for families with children.
- It can be reached as a drive-in.
- The hiding place is located outside the cemetery.
- It is not hidden in the cemetery wall!
- You don´t need to use any tools or strength to take the cache out!
- The man in the workroom knows about the cache and he´s its guardian ;-)
- Take your time and visit the cemetery, it´s worth it.
