Photobucket

Grade: I

Date Listed: 23 March 1960

English Heritage Building ID: 320015

A red brick Church built around 1690 designed by Sir Christopher Wren, for Sir Stephen Fox which was later restored in 1874 by Ewan Christian.

Have a look for the south facing sundial on the bell tower and the very colourful stained glass windows.

Also take a while to check out the Farley Hospital opposite the Church which was built by the same person in 1681 eight years earlier than the church.

This is a busy area near housing, the Village Hall, a local School and bus stop. Stealth most definitely will be required to retreive this cache!

Ifanybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
