Paisagista: É com muita pena da minha parte que tomo a decisão de arquivar esta cache mas tenho vindo a assistir à degradação do canteiro em torno da Oliveira e só posso tirar a conclusão que é devido aos geocachers. Cada vez que cá venho está pior e o contentor mais afundado em pedras. O que era uma cache facílima de encontrar tem estado a estragar o património. O que estava cimentado já não está e até a placa nos olha de esguelha.
It is with regret on my part that I take the decision to archive this cache. I have witnessed the degradation of the bed around the Olive and I can only draw the conclusion that it is due to geocaching. Every time I come here it is worse, with the container sunk under a sea of stones. It was a very easy find. What was cemented is no longer so and the memorial plaque looks at us askance.

Oliveira plantada em 14 de Julho de 1919 comemorando a paz universal após a guerra dos povos aliados contra a Alemanha

This olive tree was planted here on July 14th of 1919 to commemorate the universal peace after the war of the allied forces against Germany

Boa sombra

Entretanto a oliveira (Olea europaea) aqui plantada já deve ser centenária.

The tree must be over a hundred years old, by now.
