Since we hid our first cache in July 2009, the highlight of the day, is to fire up the computer to see if anyone has found any of our caches. Nothing gives us more pleasure than reading the logs of other Geocachers. Especially, as for the most part these dedicated Geocachers usually write interesting and meaningfull logs and sometimes even a hint or two.
Upon reading these logs you begin to realise that some team names crop up more often than others, even though they, for the most part have to travel a fair distance before they even get into the old blokes territory.
This gave us the idea of dedicating a series of caches to the teams whose names appeared the most, and the series would be in their own back yard, in appreciation for their efforts in coming into ours so regularly.
We realise that this idea is not original and that others have created similar series but we believe they are dedicated to prolific hiders and not finders.
So here is our tribute to"Our Heroes"
