Geocache Description:

VTM

This cache is on the grounds of the Vaal Teknorama Museum and was inspired by another cache located on the premises. It is also inspired by the fact that this year, 2012, commemorates the signing of the peace at Vereeniging in 1902 which resulted in the end of the Boer War.

The Teknorama Museum is only open during the week from 8am to 4pm.

The co-ordinates supplied will take you to the starting point (parking area) where your adventure will start. The cache is located in a warm place and is secured with a combination lock. You will need the treasure map and you will need to follow it step by step to all the treasures located on the premises. Collect all the data required from each treasure which will enable you to work out the final co-ordinates and the combination of the lock. Inside the hiding place you will find a small container with space for small items as well as for small tired TB’s to rest.

The cache was placed with consent from the relevant care takers who will also keep a watchful eye on it, please handle with care and respect.
