Any free-flowing creek in Arizona is a treasure to find and enjoy. So, we wanted to share this one with you. It’s song reminded us of the poem, “Song of the Brook.” We’ve included a fragment of the poem below. We hope you will take the time to read the entire poem.
"Song of the Brook"
By Beulah Wilkins
I watched a happy little brook
Gliding gently on its way;
Soft, enchanting, lovely music,
It so sweetly seemed to play.
Then I noticed as I watched it,
That the song it sweetly sings
Comes from only rocks and pebbles
As the water o’er them swings.
