A cache on E4 trail from Zakros to Ziros offering great views over the village of Zakros and the Gorge of the Dead.
To find the cache, you have to hike for 25 minutes from the village of Zakros up on the mountain, to an altitude of 370 meters.
Turn from the main road at WP1 and park at the given coordinates. Near the parking place there is a beautiful spot with water springs and a lot of green. Then follow the E4 signs and your GPS. Have in mind WP2, too.The total difference in altitude up to the cache is about 100 meters.
Good hiking shoes and a lot of water are recommended.
We also suggest a walk around the village. There are beautiful, picturesque spots to visit.
