**NOTE: In particular, we have been asked to focus on the area of the park(s) closest to Circle Drive. The Litter Bit Better group is familiar with Geocaching...and has spoken with me about their request...and since our group tends to be older and wiser (aka...I guess responsible and well meaning adults), they would like us to focus on 50ft - 75ft section from the road into the park...so, just a heads up about what our "main plan" will be. That being said; if you have family, young kids, or a mtnelson on your team and feel more comfortable away from traffic...please feel free to clean the trails in the park.

Earth Day is Monday, April 22nd and Rochester's Litter Bit Better campaign is the week of April 20th - April 27th. Working with the Litter Bit Better campaign means we will be provided with all the bags we need, garbage pick-up, and disposal as well!!! A log will be present along with the waviers the Litter Bit Better campaign/organizers require. You must sign the waivers prior to collecting trash. All those under 18 must have an adult present to sign for them as well.

The area we will be cleaning is outlined in the this map (pdf File)(yes...the map does say 2012 at this time...but it is correct...I will update as their site updates)-Otherwise, a JPG file is available below as well "LBB Sections"-of Quarry Hill and Parkwood Hills (areas 121, 127, 128, 137, 138, 139 & 140).

A "current" trail map for Quarry Hill and the Parkwood Hills area can be found here (pdf File)-Otherwise, a JPG file is available below as well "Quarry Hill Trail System". Any changes/updates as needed regarding trail status for the event will be posted here.
