This cache meets the Urban Placement Guidelines.
Most caches placed in or near railway stations and railway line are tagged as 'sidetracked'. I have noted that Dalgety bay does not have one of these so decided to post the towns first.
The cache is located about a 5 min walk east of the main station due to other caches within the station car park area. It is NOT located on or near the line and can be reached safely.
Access to the area is fairly easy and can possibly be reached by wheelchair provided the user is assisted and the helper has some stamina!!!
Dalgety bay station offers frequent services to and from Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen and also on the fife circular route.
Parking for the cache is just of the main road, so care should be used if accompanied by children. No turning is available should you proceed along the single track road to the cache location, so it is advised to park at the entrance and walk the last few meters.
