Binscombe Church In 1957 a local lady, Mrs May, invited friends and neighbours into her home in Binscombe village to worship. The gatherings grew from strength to strength and quickly outgrew Mrs May's bungalow. Support grew to build a church in the area and by 1964 building work had begun. The church opened a short while later and the building was extended in March 1969. Several years later a third phase of building work was carried out.
