Simply Paul: A lovely day to be out, destroying the solar system.
This was a steeper climb than I remembered, then I couldn't find it, but eventually I got my hands on Uranus and was able to leave with a smile on my face. So hot! Hottest April day since the 40's, apparently. I can believe it!
Thanks all who came to Uranus. I hope you enjoyed the experience.

Geocache Description:

The Geolympix Solar System Series was inspired by a visit to Zürich in 2010, where I saw a 1:1bn scale solar system. GSS caches are hidden at scale distances from the 'sun'; the golden globe atop West Wycombe church.

Based on a 1:300,000,000 scale, each cache contains a planet to the same scale and is sited at the correct distance from the globe. Thus, if you could see it from the Earth cache, the golden globe would appear to be 1/2 of a degree across, just as the sun appears from the Earth. The cache contains a stamp, making it a letterbox hybrid; please don't remove it!

Uranus is another gas planet without a solid surface (as far as we can tell) - as with other caches in this series, gather up the numbers you find in them to get the co-ords for Neptune, and beyond..!
