Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT hidden at the posted coordinates! You must crack the cipher below to find the real coordinates.

Cachers of a certain age may remember Tom Lehrer, an American singer-songwriter, satirist, pianist, and mathematician.

Lehrer earned his AB in mathematics (magna cum laude) from Harvard University in 1947 at age nineteen, and received his MA degree the next year. He taught classes at MIT, Harvard, and Wellesley. Tom remained in Harvard's doctoral program for several years, taking time out for his musical career and to work as a researcher at Los Alamos and at the National Security Agency. In later years, Tom taught political science, mathematics, and musical theater at various universities.

Lehrer's musical work typically focused on political and social commentary. He often parodied popular songs, as in "The Elements" which sets the names of the chemical elements to the tune of the "Major-General's Song" from Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance. Written in 1959, the song was up to date for its time.

In 1980, 28 of Lehrer's songs were made into a musical revue that ran successfully in London and New York. The revue was called "Tom Foolery," which inspired the name of this cache.

Although Tom's audiences (including Queen Elizabeth II and viewers of the American TV Show That Was The Week That Was) enjoyed his performances, some critics were less than impressed:
"Mr. Lehrer's muse is not fettered by such inhibiting factors as taste." — The New York Times
"Plays the piano acceptably" — The Oakland Tribune
For a final bit of trivia, consider this: Weird Al Yankovic credits Tom Lehrer as one of his musical influences.

A number of Tom's songs have been published by (no surprise here) Dr. Demento.

Okay, enough about Tom. On to the puzzle:

This cache was inspired by DeltaDelta1's EINSTEIN'S CRYPTIC CACHE, however the cipher used in this puzzle is NOT the same!

The cache contains 3 shiny new $1 President coins, one for each of the first three finders.

Congratulations to First Solver/First Finder KK2005! Great work and I'm sorry it took a face full of snow for you to see the light!
