Geocache Description:

A SAMP (South Africa MEGA Party) get-together to chat and get up to date with what is happening with the MEGA Event from 04 to 07 October 2012.

Calling all geocachers from South Africa (and abroad). If you are in Johannesburg on the 31st March 2012, please pop round for a relaxing time under the shady trees.

Bring along your picnic basket, blanket and camping chairs, for a fun-filled afternoon.

We'll be having a "SAND ART" setup to keep the kids (and grown ups too ;-)) entertained. We will pay for the facility and helper, but cards will cost R10 each (part of the Sand Art setup and has nothing to do with GoSAm). This is a fun craft which appeals to both boys and girls of various ages. There will also be kits available for purchase on the day, should you want to take some home with you or get some as gifts for other children.

There is a small soccer pitch nearby, for those that want to kick a ball and some playground equipment.

This is the ideal Event for NEWBIES! Come and find out about geocaching and get some hands-on experience!

Bring along your TBs and Geocoins for discovery.

For those of you who have never been to Golden Harvest Park, you will find a variety of caches hidden in the park. We will also "unveil" a Wherigo cache for those that have found all the other caches already!
