Kurzer Cache an einem sehr exponierten Punkt. Es müssen nur 1 bis 2 m geklettert werden, aber nicht sehr steil. Bei starkem oder böigem Wind sehr gefährlich und nichts für Kinder.
Short cache at a very vulnerable point. You have to climb only 1 or 2 m, but not very steep. In strong or gusty wind very dangerous and not for children. Length < 500 m.
Der Parkplatz bei den angegebenen Koordinaten kann mit dem Auto von Krotos (ca. 1,5 km, Staubstraße) erreicht werden. Auch von Lentas ist die Anfahrt möglich (4 km, Staubstraße, steil) Zu Fuß von Krotos oder Lentas kann dieser cache zu einer sehr heißen Angelegenheit werden. Reichlich Flüssigkeit und Sonnenschutz müssen dann dabei sein. Die Kapelle Panagia Vitanos wird von Einheimischen oft besucht.
Direkt am Parkplatz steht eine steinerne Wand mit Mosaiktafeln. Eine Jahreszahl kann abgelesen werden: ABCD
Damit kann das Final bereits angesteuert werden, das bei
N 34° 56, D/A 7 A’ E 024° 57, B (D/A)*3 (D+A)’ liegt.
Keine Klettertour, nur 1 bis 2 m auf ausgesetztem Fels. Vorsicht bei Wind!
An Feiertagen gibt es hier viele fromme Muggels!
The parking lot at the specified coordinates can be reached by car by Krotos ( about 1.5 km, dust road). Even the approach of Lentas is possible ( 4 km, dust road, steep). Walk to this cache from Krotos or Lentas can be a very hot affair. You need plenty of water and sunscreen.The chapel Panagia Vitanos is often visited by locals.
Parking is available directly on a stonewall with mosaic panels. A year can be read:
