Largo de São Pedro
A povoação de Santa cruz é uma das mais antigas de toda a ilha, datada do início do século XV. O concelho foi criado em 26 de Junho de 1515, sendo elevada à categoria de cidade a 2 de Agosto de 1996.
O Largo de São Pedro fica na zona sul de Santa Cruz. Se lá for num dia de grande tráfego aéreo poderá ter a sorte de ver os aviões passarem muito próximos de si, no verão os mais aventureiros poderão aproveitar para dar um mergulho.

The village of Santa Cruz is one of the oldest of the island, dating from the early fifteenth century. The county was created on June 26 1515, and was elevated to city status on 2nd August 1996.
The St. Peter's Square is located in the south of Santa Cruz. If there is a high-traffic days may be lucky enough to see the planes pass very close to each other, in the summer the more adventurous can go for a swim.
