SLO: Ob cesti Bovec-Trenta si lahko ogledate spodnjo postajo krožne žičnice. Žičnica ima ime Golobarska žičnica. Zaradi inovativnih rešitev spada med tip žičnic, ki se imenuje Tolminka. Žičnico je postavilo podjetje Balant-Kosmač med leti 1931 do 1935. Redno je prenehala obratovati leta 1968. Leta 1989 so iz varnostnih razlogov odstranili nosilne žice ter uredili spodnjo postajo, ki si jo lahko ogledate še danes. Ime Golobar izvira iz hriba Golobar, kjer je že podjetje Balant-Kosmač izkoriščalo gozdove. Dolžina linije žičnice je bila 2100 m. Višinska razlika med spodnjo in zgornjo postajo žičnice je bila 638 m. Žičnica je lahko prepeljala 100 kubičnih metrov lesa na dan. Samo v letih 1956-1968 so spravili cca. 30.000 do 40.000 kubičnih metrov lesa. Golobarska žičnica je bila postavljena verjetno med zadnjimi in velja za redek primer, takšnega, še ohranjenega objekta v Sloveniji.
