five minutes from car park up hill with beautifull views over the dartmoor hills and picturesque moretonhampstead
beautifull location on the edge of dartmoor overlooking moretonhampstead and dartmoor to the south, you can park in the nearby car park/gravel storage area just to the south , no amenities at all(apart from the bushes!) the cache is a small plastic container with a log and pencil present.
a short uphill walk through bracken and gorse of about five minutes to the obvious rocky granite outcrop which is a perfect picnic place in the summer but brutally exposed in the winter
