Geocache Description:

A small geocache not far from the original Lover's Beach Cache, featuring rugged but feasible climb and a great view.

If you are hunting for this one, you have probably traveled a long distance to be here. I want you to have success! The accuracy at the beach is pretty good, so you should be able to get a good idea where to go before you begin climbing. Have a look at the "start here" photo! You will be climbing one of the several washes that run down the steep slope. The washes are not quite as steep and provide a fairly good place to climb if you are wearing good shoes or boots.

About halfway up or so, you will come to a large, somewhat flat rock that is roughly a meter wide and you can stand on it. Your reception here may be poor, but put down your GPSR and start looking under that other big rock in front of you. There you will find a 24 oz. Tupperware-type container in a ziplock bag! metal tin**

You can see the photo below, but the original contents include: a Mexi-Donald Duck Travel Bug, a little fish, Liberty, a Moun10Bike geocoin (#096), a plastic ring, rubber snake, a US quarter from the year we were born, a 20 peso bill from "Cougars, Tigers, and Bears" in Washington, a couple of globe keychains, a Washington geocaching key ring, and a golfing Jack from "Steel Mill" in Washington. The logbook and pencil are there, too. Please be careful, sign in, and make a trade.

12/8/2008: I bumped the terrain up a star from 2.5.

02/18/2016: Container was replaced again.

03/16/2018: **Container replaced yet again (small metal tin)
